These Terms of Service govern your use of VertaHub. By browsing the directory or submitting a community for listing, you agree to the terms below. We've tried to write them in plain English.
⚡ The Short Version
- ✓ VertaHub is a free directory of Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, and Facebook communities — we don't host or run those communities ourselves.
- ✓ You must be at least 13 (or your local minimum age) to use VertaHub.
- ✓ Don't submit spam, malicious, illegal, or misleading listings.
- ✓ We can remove any listing or block any user at our discretion, without notice.
- ✓ Anything that happens after you click through to a third-party community is between you and that platform.
- ✓ The service is provided "as is" — we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or the quality of listed communities.
1Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VertaHub ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use VertaHub, including anyone who submits a community listing.
2Description of Service
VertaHub is an online directory that lists and links to publicly available communities hosted on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, and Facebook.
We do not own, operate, moderate, or control any of the communities listed in our directory. We simply provide discovery — a way to find them.
We may add, remove, modify, or reorganize listings, categories, or features of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
3Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use VertaHub. Some communities listed in our directory may have their own, higher age requirements (for example, 18+ servers) — it is your responsibility to comply with those platform-specific or community-specific rules.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet these age requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4Acceptable Use
When using VertaHub, you agree that you will and will not do the following:

- ✓Submit only listings you have the right to share.
- ✓Provide accurate information in any submission or contact form.
- ✓Respect the rules of any community you join through our directory.
✕ You won't
- ✕Submit spam, fake, duplicate, or misleading listings.
- ✕Submit listings that are illegal, fraudulent, or promote violence, hate, or exploitation.
- ✕Attempt to scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- ✕Use automated bots or scripts to abuse the contact or submission forms.
- ✕Misrepresent your affiliation with a community you submit.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including removing content and blocking access — against anyone who violates this section.
5Submitted Listings & Content
If you submit a community, link, description, or other content to VertaHub for listing ("Submitted Content"), you agree that:
- You own the community or have authorization from its owner/admins to submit it for listing.
- The Submitted Content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- You grant VertaHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reformat, and present your Submitted Content within the directory.
- We may edit, reject, unpublish, or remove any Submitted Content at our sole discretion, including listings that go offline, become inactive, or are reported as harmful.
We do not pre-verify the accuracy of every submitted listing in real time, although we run automated checks (such as link health and member count verification) on a recurring basis.
6Third-Party Communities & Links
VertaHub links out to communities hosted entirely on third-party platforms. Once you click a listing and join a community:
- You leave VertaHub and are subject to that platform's and that community's own terms of service, rules, and moderation.
- VertaHub has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, behavior, members, administrators, or policies of any listed community.
- Any disputes, harm, or issues arising from your participation in a listed community are between you and that community/platform, not VertaHub.
Use your own judgment before joining any community or sharing personal information within it. A listing on VertaHub is not an endorsement or guarantee of safety, accuracy, or quality.
7Intellectual Property
The VertaHub name, logo, design, layout, and original written content are the property of VertaHub and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
Logos, icons, and names of third-party platforms (such as Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, and Facebook) referenced on VertaHub belong to their respective owners and are used solely to indicate the platform a listed community is hosted on. This use does not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with those platforms.
8Disclaimer of Warranties
VertaHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, member count, or community description.
- Warranties regarding the safety, legality, or quality of any third-party community linked from our directory.
You use VertaHub, and any community you discover through it, entirely at your own risk.
9Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VertaHub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or harm arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- Your participation in any third-party community discovered through our directory.
- Any content, conduct, or actions of any third party, including other users or community administrators.
- Unauthorized access to, or alteration of, your transmissions or data.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months — which, since VertaHub is free to use, is zero.
10Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VertaHub and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Submitted Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11Termination & Removal of Listings
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
- Remove, unpublish, or refuse any community listing at any time, without prior notice or explanation.
- Block or restrict access to the Service for any visitor we believe is violating these Terms or abusing the Service.
- Discontinue or modify any part of the Service at any time.
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Service, and the sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will continue to apply.
12Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in accordance with that governing law, to the extent permitted.
13Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VertaHub after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
